When the car was purchased from Intercooled Flatty.....
With my black '88 in the foreground.....
My first major problem.....snapped flywheel bolts!
& this was why......(Bret had swapped it to manual, & neglected to take out the bushing for the torque converter.)
It still didn't run right. In fact, it had a breathtaking amount of crankwalk, which was causing funny noises.
Probably because of this thrust bearing.
It lasted about two donuts around the front yard before it went to knocking. So, I tried another engine I had.
It lasted 250 miles, & it too, failed.
Around this time, I moved to Kansas, & since the United States Postal Service was having extreme problems getting my tax information from Texas to me, we mailed something that would be a little harder to lose.
Incredibly professional, those fellows....
